I love this tin - it's perfect for carrying my dressmaking pins. Also, it's of very sentimental value. I remember the day mum took us into Barnstaple (in Devon) for late night shopping - it was a real treat. I was about 18 at the time. Anyway, I bought a round tin printed to look like a cat and my little doggie tin. It even went to university with me! (I lost the bottom part of the cat, so now I only have the head, but it does come in handy for putting cut off ends of threads in when I'm doing embroidery!)
So, as well as providing me with myriad memories, it also started my penchant for collecting pretty tins! Does anyone else do this? What's your favourite?
